The Right Bicycle

Jason Tatlock is blessed to be a pastor with King on a Hill Ministries and a professor of history in south Georgia.  He received a PhD in ancient Israel/Hebrew Bible from the University of Michigan, and is excited about teaching students ancient history.  Yet, one of his greatest passions is to serve in the church to help equip the body of Christ through discipleship training and devotional writing.  He just launched a new series called: A Word in the Word.  The first book, With: More Than a Word, reflects upon the importance of this simple preposition in the wider narrative of Scripture.  In "with," we see the embodiment of God's plan for humanity.  "With" is the Gospel message.

Carla is an author, speaker, blogger, and creator of her YouTube Channel. Carla published her first book in December 2019 called “Conquering The Book Thief.” Her most recent work was published in 2025 which is called “Forgiveness Is A Decision.” This is a 21-day devotional on forgiveness. Her passion is to see individuals healed of the pain from unmet emotional needs. 

Carla can be heard each Thursday on her weekly radio podcast, Inspirational Minutes, on Christian Mix 106. Her recent project includes Monday Manna Inspiration on YouTube. Carla is a member of the Praise Church of New Orleans and is active in Southern Christian Writers, Christian Women In Media, and Word Weavers.

Matthew Wingo is a writer and storyteller whose journey has been marked by redemption, discovery, and a steadfast pursuit of noble character. Once walking a prodigal path, Matthew’s return to faith brought a deeper understanding of manhood rooted in grace, integrity, and purpose. After a twenty-plus year corporate career across multiple countries, Matthew answered the call to serve Kingdom purposes more directly, co-founding Turn Right Ministries to challenge men to rise above complacency and pursue lives anchored in what is true, good, and enduring.

 Shawn Carnes is a devoted follower of Jesus, husband of 27 years, father of two adult daughters, and a small business owner who has spent more than 20 years transforming spaces through his tile and home remodeling business. He has a heart for mentoring young men through Young Life, walking alongside them as they navigate life, relationships, and faith. Shawn is also passionate about encouraging men to stand strong in their faith, fight the battles that hold them back, and live out their God-given purpose for themselves and their families. He finds tremendous joy and restoration out in God’s creation on snow, water or trail.

Walking Through Grief to Life

Widow Goals is a nonprofit organization created to support widows—especially in the first year after losing their spouse, when everything feels unfamiliar, overwhelming, and uncertain. When I became a widow at 41, I had no idea how difficult those first few months—and that first year—would be. Even with faith, family, and friends, nothing could fully prepare me for the depth of the loss. So I did something simple but life-changing. I reached out to widows. I asked every single one of them the same question: “Will it get better?” And every single one of them said yes. Those words gave me something I desperately needed—hope.

Hi, I'm Allen Swayze, and I am the Lead Pastor at Lake Chelan Bible Church and have come to love raising my family here in the beautiful Chelan Valley! My wife, Taryn, and I have two children: Nora and Hudson.

I really enjoy making the Gospel and church applicable to everyday life, making it easier for anybody and everybody to take that next step to following Jesus.

Redemption! 

Hello, my name is David Cruz. I was born in Chelan and grew up in Chelan as well as in Orondo. I am the youngest of six siblings. Growing up, I was surrounded by orchards, 

making unforgettable memories with my siblings and cousins. I am currently residing in Chelan and coaching middle school and high school soccer. Not too long ago, I decided to walk back to Jesus Christ, after many years of feeling empty and living by the ways of the world. He’s taught me what true unconditional love truly is, and He’s shown me that even though I went through so much in my life, He never left me. He loved me and comforted me in my darkest days. I know He will use my story to bring comfort to others.

Walking in Trust! 

The Valley Collective is a ministry founded by Ana Torres and Hailee Huddleston. The purpose of this ministry is to unite the Church in worship and prayer, to build up and edify believers so they may be compelled by Jesus to be salt and light to the world.  We have had the privilege to partner with many Evangelical churches throughout our valley and beyond, as well as other ministries and individual Christians to further this mission. It has been stretching and hard at times, but to watch God move in such mighty ways, opening doors and unifying His people, has been amazing to be a part of.  And we are humbled that He has chosen us to steward this ministry.

Giving God our Yes! 

We are Jan, Holly, and Raye, and our mission and vision for True North - Fishes and Loaves is we believe the Holy Spirit is working in the Lake Chelan Valley, from Stehekin to the Columbia River. To provide a gateway for the gathering of the Body of Christ, we facilitate faith-based programming. To encourage people furthering the kingdom of heaven by spreading the gospel, we act as a booster club for Jesus. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we create experiences via our Stehekin Retreat and quarterly gatherings for women, as well as create collaboration with people and funds. We give God our two fishes and five loaves and watch Him bless and multiply them.

Hey guys, my name’s Austin. I’m originally from Southeast Idaho and moved to Chelan in the summer of 2023. Shortly after that, God completely changed my life! I have one biological brother and five stepsisters. I played baseball growing up and played for two years in college as well! I love hanging out with friends, hunting, drinking coffee, and pretty much doing anything under the sun! God has really put it on my heart to share my testimony on how powerful and loving He is, and how there is TRUE freedom in Christ!

Passionate about Jesus!

 Hi, I'm Hailee, and I've grown up and lived in the area of Chelan, Washington my whole life. My family has been planted and rooted there for generations. At an early age, I noticed division and even purposeful separation among the churches, which began to concern me.
Through a wonderful opportunity of doing YWAM (youth with a mission) and going out to the nations, God began to show me the need for unity in Christ Jesus among the churches in my hometown! God has placed a burden on my heart for the community - for hearts to be set on fire, and for a calling for the whole Body of Christ to live in harmony with one another - all for the glory of The Lord!

I'm Ana, and I have a huge passion for discipleship and edifying the church body. I’m involved with different organizations in the Chelan Valley, different missions but same purpose - to make Christ known and magnified here in our Valley and love and serve people well. I love creating deep meaningful relationships. I have a deep desire to see unity in the local church. More specifically, my heart longs to see the English and Spanish church united. I hope to see that with my own eyes and do everything I can to make that happen. Being part of my own story, my heart aches to see people truly free in Jesus. My compassion for people has become so tender. I long to see people free from bondage and walk in true freedom and the

blessing that comes with walking with Jesus!
