Let's Talk is a culmination of ideas and years of being obedient about doing a podcast. When our youngest son was in high school, he once joked about me to his dad that watching me talk to several young women after Bible study was like my own talk show, Hangin' with Heid. In Fall of 2020, God strongly encouraged me to be obedient in starting a podcast. I had no idea where that road would lead, nor did I really want to go down it for lots of reasons. Over the years, Hangin' with Heid turned into The Coop - because my recording studio is now inside half of our chicken coop. 

This last winter (2025), my niece Courtney Hornsby and I discussed what it would look like to combine both shows, giving the podcast a new name, a fresh new look, and a relaunch. January of this year (2026), we did just that. We discussed what the show really was about, and what was the heart of what God was asking us to do with it. The reality is, the heart of it has always been the same; we were just learning how to go about sharing the idea with the world. So, please, take some time, go to the About Us page, and find out what Let's Talk is all about. And if you believe you have a testimony or God revelation to share, please email us. We will carefully weigh each submission, pray, and ask Holy Spirit whom He wants to highlight, and we will go from there.
